A career in floristry

Easy at it may sound, a job as a florist isn't all that straightforward. It isn't simply throwing together some flowers that makes an arrangement.
You want to know the simple color combos and special flowers that go with certain occasions. Some flowers are like a symbol of the making or breaking of an arrangement too. There's a lot to think about before jumping into the idea of training as a florist.

The Job Of A Florist

Being a florist isn't a glamorous job. You have got to deliver floral displays according to the occasion. It may be a funeral or a marriage. Bearing in mind the consumer won't be aware of the full range of flower displays available, a florist must be in a position to suggest appropriate arrangements. On a typical day, you will have to make wreaths for funerals and varied other sorts of displays. Posies or sheaves are often put together in front of the purchaser.
